Fred Lehr was named as the Department's Interim Assistant Director
of the Office of Risk Assessment and Market Conduct in February
2008. He joined the Department in 2000 and has served in the
Financial Regulation Services Division as Chief of Regulation
Action managing a staff monitoring the financial activity and
solvency of Ohio licensed insurance companies. Prior to joining
the Department, he worked in the private sector over 30 years,
primarily as a Chief Financial Officer in Life and Health industry.
