Former Owner of Largest Title Insurance Agency in Miami Valley Sentenced 12 years, Ordered to Pay $7 Million Restitution
Steve Clayton, the former owner of Miami Valley's largest title insurance agency, Equity Land Title Insurance Inc., was sentenced 12 years in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas on Aug. 25 and ordered to pay more than $7 million in restitution for stealing escrow funds from hundreds of individuals and businesses.
